Whether you’re reading this in January or otherwise, it’s always a good time to kickstart your fitness journey! Nevermind if you’ve given it a try before – and struggled with consistency – or have never taken the plunge to find your gym rhythm.

What makes going to the gym worth it?

Needless to say, there are endless benefits to going to the gym, not least of them all health and fitness related. Just like any gym, the Sculpt and Sweat Studio is kitted out with all of the key machines and equipment you’ll need, saving you precious time and money.

On top of that, for those who aren’t sure where to start, SASS offers personal and semi-private personal training sessions! Personal training entails 1:1 coaching time with one of our trainers and semi-private personal training sessions consist of working out within a group of 3 to 5 women under the direction of one of our trainers.

Semi-personal PT sessions are a fun and accessible way to keep fit and motivated while receiving all of the expertise of a qualified trainer.

What if going to the gym isn’t for me?

Traditional gym workouts aren’t always for everyone but what makes SASS special are our female-only fitness classes! We cater to ladies who lift, those who want a mindful yoga practice, and have dance-inspired workout classes such as pilates x barre and step.

All workouts, including classes, are set to an upbeat soundtrack – our carefully curated SASS playlist – and consist of our growing community of warm and determined women, who you’ll no doubt enjoy meeting both in and out of the studio!

How can I stay consistent at the gym?

Operating via sheer willpower alone can be a lonely and arduous task and there may indeed be lulls in your fitness journey, especially following time off when you go on holiday or have particularly busy periods at work.

Unsurprisingly, committing to workouts with a trainer – whether it’s 1:1 or in a semi-private setting – or booking yourself into a class can help keep you motivated and accountable. The encouragement and expertise of a trainer will keep you mentally and physically on track to meet your goals, and surrounding yourself with like-minded women who continue to show up for themselves can only be positive.
